Season 1 Episode 1
Gabriel - Texas Tales from a Lone Star's Drummer Part 1
Austin Texas is the "Live Music Capital of the World." Angel Isaacs is a Contemporary Christian Music Singer/Songwriter who plays solo on her acoustic guitar. Gabriel Lewandowski is a Death Metal and Classic Rock band drummer. They joined forces to produce this series. Together they will explore the local music scene. Gabriel flies in from Orlando, Florida to Austin, Texas and Angel picks him up at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Stop One is Callahan's General Store to buy Gabe his first Cowboy hat, black of course. Next is Central Texas Harley-Davidson's showroom, Gabe's favorite business and motorcycle, always. That night they head to The Post in Cedar Park, Texas so Angel can begin to introduce Gabe to some of her local musician friends. They say hello to Glen Collins (guitar/vocals) and Allen Kentfield (steel guitar), long-time local Country Music icons. Angel introduces Gabe to her fellow musician friend Etoyia Simons (vocals/guitar) of "Southern Honey." They leave the Post and travel up Hwy. 1431 to Jonestown, Texas. Here is a local hub for Austin musicians, especially on the North Shore of Lake Travis, "The Lonestar."
The first problem they have run into with their exploration of the local music scene is that Gabriel is a drummer and his drums are back in Orlando. Their goal is for Gabe to meet local musicians so they have to find places where drums are provided. That leads into the next problem - meeting and immediately performing with musicians whom Gabe has never met or played with before. Luckily, Angel has already established a circle of music friends both with her own Contemporary Christian/Country/Folk acoustic music and with Gabe's Death Metal/Classic Rock music. So she picks a night and place where her friends Roberto B. (guitar) and Johnny B. (bass/vocals) are hosting an open mic, with drums. The guys do wonderfully and show their true abilities and skills in performing together as complete strangers. All of these are established musicians in the Austin Music Scene.
Season 1 Episode 2

They park her van, "Swan," and walk from the corner parking lot towards the famous Driskill Hotel. They pass many music venues and local music hot spots along the way. Angel takes Gabe upstairs to the second floor of the Driskill and shows him the iconic Longhorn Steer. Then they head to Cowboy Harley-Davidson Austin where musicians are performing. Angel introduces Gabe to Bull-Diego Avello (guitar/vocals Bull & Los Bufalos). He is performing with Danny B Harvey of Head Cat, (Lemmy Kilmister/Motorhead). Gabriel runs into a death metal musician he already knows, David Vincent (Morbid Angel).
