Bora Bora; Just a Little Time

My late husband was an Olympic qualifying swimmer (he made the team but chose not to go for personal reasons). His specialty was the “Butterfly.” So when we went to Bora Bora I had zero concern about swimming in the beautiful, clear ocean. I had goggles special made with my eye glasses perscription built in, before we went. I had bought a $3. pink skinny, long air mattress float that I took with me. My plan was to place the air mattress under my stomach, then with my mask and snorkle on I simply put my head in the water and floated around.

I was busy doing this when he noticed something I hadn’t noticed at all. I was too busy looking at the pretty fish under me, with my head in the water. He noticed I had gotten caught in a current and was being slowly but surely pulled out to sea. The next thing I knew he was there beside me pulling me safely to shore. I loved him so very much. I’ve never considered our marriage to be over. He’s just waiting for me on the other side. On this side I’ve kept our dreams alive and accomplished what we set out to do, the essence. That’s how I feel about God and Jesus too. In fact , that’s how I feel about all of my loved ones, regardless of whether they are here or there. It’s just a matter of a little time. xo
