Laileigh’s Birthday PowerPoint

💕 Today’s interest… SO Laileigh, my soon to be 9 beautiful granddaughter, sat the family down in the living room last night and stood in front of the giant Tv and with a pointer stick led us through the PowerPoint presentation she created. It was explaining her upcoming birthday to us in pretty pictures and diagrams. First, were Squishies, her current favorite toys. Then came some kind of Glitter toy, it’s now in my Amazon Wish List with her favorite Squishies. Then came examples of her favorite birthday cakes. We were repeatedly instructed she is allergic to red food dye. She does like macaroons. Just not red ones. Then balloons. Not just any balloons. She has a favorite color pallette (very much like the hues of blues, lavenders, pinks, and teals in my bedroom. That was all leading up to the Grand Finale: Great Wolf Lodge Resort in Dallas. When we spoke during the presentation we were reprimanded and instructed to raise our hand.

Angel: (to my grown daughter, Lai’s mom, who just spent the past two years completing her RN nursing degree) “It sounds JUST LIKE your trillion nursing PowerPoints you’ve played while studying.”

Skye: “I helped her make the PowerPoint.”

Lai: “No talking, shuuuhsh. Raise your hand. Now who remembers the correct colors of balloons? There’s going to be a quiz.”
