I just submitted episode 2 and episode 3 of the Paul Val Band @C-Boy's Austin, Texas "Live Music Capital of the World," to Austin Public Television for my show I created and produce, "Texas Tales from a Lone Star." This is from the first time I filmed him, last June. I had already submitted show 1of3 and it has already aired, and will continue to air, forever, lol. Now, I've submitted the next 2 shows, same night, 30 minutes each. Together they make 1 1/2 hrs. of showtime, just Paul and his band, doing what they do, at C-Boy's, named in homage for the Rome Inn, a former venue where Stevie Ray Vaughan performed.
There's a reason for that, see Paul's tattoos, and his skills. He and his band toured Europe this past Sept/Oct and recently returned. I also filmed him last Thursday, again at C-Boy's on South Congress, his first time performing there since returning from the European tour. The 3 shows I've submitted to Austin Public so far can also be seen here on my website, as well.
Earlier tonight when I wrote to Paul on Facebook Messenger (and I told him in person last Thursday at C-Boy's that I had previously written to him there, to look for it, about the first episode I submitted) I said:
"It was nice to talk to you last Thursday at your show at C-Boy's. Thank you for the personalized guitar pick you gave me. I enjoyed your Europe posts, excellent! I asked you if we were fine for me to continue turning in shows I've filmed of you. You indicated it was. So tonight I turned in part 2 and part 3 of the same first night I filmed you at C-Boy's last June. That makes 3 shows, 30 min. each, that I've now submitted to Austin Public. They are also on my Facebook page at this moment and on my website. Again, anything I film is also yours, just ask. So that is the entire night I first filmed you, all at C-Boy's, last June, back to back total of 1 hour and 30 minutes of just you and your band. I appreciate your friendship. I am honored to film you, to me you are representative of Austin local professional live music at its best and to me you are the new version of Stevie Ray Vaughan, I expect your name to also go down in Austin history, I noticed this about you a decade ago. Thanks, Paul xo Angel"
