And the New Journey Begins...

Angel to Lai today, hugging her and whispering excitedly: "We did it. Your mama said you can go with me on the cruises. I've got one picked out already. I'm going to get a fancy room exactly like I had the other time when you couldn't go. But this one is going to have an even bigger and better balcony. I'm going to find just the right one."

Lai: "Does it have a swimming pool?"

Angel: "Let's look up the ship and watch the videos." We do. "Look, it has FOUR HOT-TUBS on all the sides of the pool. You realize that pool is on a BOAT, right?"

Lai: "But I want YOU to be in the POOL with me and YOU'll be in the HOT-TUB!!!"

Angel: "Remember how we did it at our apartment we loved, The hot-tub was right beside the pool and you'd play in the pool while I was right there in the hot-tub, right beside you. We'll do that."

Lai: "But....I want you in the POOL with me."

Angel: "Baby, you know how Grandmama is, I'll be right there in the pool with you AND I'll be in the hot-tub too. Look, it has a movie over the pool."

Lai: "A POOL AND a MOVIE!!! My FAVORITE THINGS!!! TOGETHER. Can we go all the time, every day?"

Angel: "Every day for a WEEK, now, look at the room I'm going to get. It's just like before." We do. "It has a BATHTUB. The balcony and the bathtub are the MOST IMPORTANT parts of all."

Lai: "And the POOL."

Angel: "Let's look at the map. Let's start learning about all these places we're going." We do.

Lai: "Is Mark going?"

Angel: "Mark's going. He'll have his own room. Grandmama is going to create his Stunt Workshops on the cruises.

There's 20,000 families who do Worldschooling. He'll need you to help him with his stunts, like you always do. You know you're my Assistant Producer for the television shows for Texas Tales from a Lone Star. We'll film it all and make our stories and shows." This is actually something Lai and I already do, and have for years. I've taken her to my Austin Public television station and filmed her doing stunts with Mark and his friends, etc. Teach them young. Mark started teaching her when she was 4 months old. That's 8 years now. We've been all over. Now, we're going to shift to cruises for awhile.

I've joined "Worldschooling Journeys," which is a homeschool for families to travel the world and teach their children (and grandchilden, lol) about different countries and cultures, history, and pretty much anything you can think of. Museums, tours, restaurants, adventures. Lai and I have done this since she was born. I have dozens and dozens of our adventures, many of which you can see in my photo albums here on my page. I did this same thing with her mom and my other children as they grew up. So, we have officially started now. Our new adventures. xo
