My book, "Island" has a setting based on Bora Bora, Tetiaroa, Tahiti, Moorea, and an imaginary atoll linked to my waterfalls at Chapelgate, and the dam there. I do that by linking my children's book, "Willie Worm & The Apple Tree" to "Island." The primary setting for my book series is my former home, "Chapelgate," 39.5 acres of beautiful forest with historical buildings, a Grist Mill, dam, Lodge, and a tiny Chapel with a stained glass window. I blended all my writings together. I love islands and the 3 weeks I spent in French Polynesia created a lifetime of memories I use in my writings. "Island" is the prequel to my book series, "The Chapelgate Adventure Series." It is a fantasy based on God's call to Abraham to leave all he knows behind, because God is taking him to a new land, The Promised Land. My books are on my website along with links to my song lyrics, my videos I created for the local Austin Television Public Channel, my independent videos, and over 450 true short-stories in the various subjects that interest me. xo
