The Harvest of Chapelgate: Mark, Taurus, Trash Day

My friend of going on 8 years now, Mark, Sylvester Stallone's stunt double/body double for 25 years, in 30 Stallone films, posted this. It's his favorite, Rocky IV, Rocky Balboa. He won a Hollywood Stuntmen Hall of Fame Taurus award for his role in this one. I glanced at it just before sharing it and lo and behold, watch it. See Rocky on top of the ice covered mountain peak, the long shot, with his arms triumphantly up in the air. Well, that's Mark. How do I know? Mark's been teaching my little granddaughter, Lai, since she was 4 mts. old. Plus he calls ALL the time, lol (I'm not a phone person) and this caused, "Mark, do NOT call me at 6 am. Mark, I do NOT want to talk to your friends, quit that," etc. etc. in the early days. "Mark, Lai wants to talk to you." Believe me, by now, I just know.

Why share? For the same reason I have written story after story about Mark (and Lai, and me, and whatever friend...he puts them on the phone anyway) - Mark lives Christ. The one I didn't share (I guess I should have) that he posted right beside this one was that his home town is having a trash pickup day soon. Will he be there? Probably, my guess is yes. What will he be doing? Picking up trash and talking to every single person around him about Jesus with a great big Mark-style smile. He'll remember their names. They will always remember his. xo
