Andy invited Lai and me to his ranch the Sunday after the cruise. I told him “Lai will love that, yes!” We’ll be hiding Easter eggs for the kids, again, like we have before. When I started to post pics of our arrival in Grand Cayman, I saw the pics from my 2nd “free” room service and as I was rethinking I switched to post those pics first, last night’s pics. I noticed that surrounding the food pics were Israel screenshots, Andy’s invitation, and a couple others. “Put all of them together,” I felt the spirit say. For my Grand Cayman story, which I had just been about to post this morning’s pics for, my thought was Zechariah 4:6. Mark had eaten breakfast with me, just a few minutes ago, and had quoted “Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6. “THAT’s the story you need to write,” he had said. I’ll write that story, about Mr. Universe, Mark, and Sylvester Stallone, in a minute, after I post these pics of last night’s room service, Israel, and Easter at Andy’s, and the others. “If we had of used a New Testament scripture quote, the prayer never would have made it into the movie. They would have kicked it out. But because we used a quote from the Old Testament, Jewish, they left it in.” “What movie was the Zechariah 4:6 prayer IN,” I asked? “Rocky Balboa, the one I won the Taurus award for,” Mark said. He had just told me THAT story. THAT was what I intended to write about. Instead I erased what I had, because I saw the room service photos were next, surrounded by the message from my Outlaw Cowboy friend, Andy’s, invitation to Easter eggs at his ranch, next to my Israel Temple mount screenshots on my phone, etc. So since Mark just said, “Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord,” I will trust there is a reason, write the story, and post these pics first. God’s spirit will fill in the blanks and tell me WHY, later.

Hi! I'm new to this group. I recently joined because my friend Sam invited me. I just, this sec, finished writing one of my almost daily short-stories. It is called, “Room Service, Israel, and Andy’s Ranch Easter.” Before I had even posted it this message saying I had been accepted into your group popped up, on my phone. One more click and I would have posted my story on my page like I always do. The reason why I’m telling you is because the story is about Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord.” I am, this second, writing this story in my room overlooking our ship’s arrival at Grand Cayman. My best friend, Mark DeAlessandro, who was the body/stunt double for Sylvester Stallone for 23 years, and whom I write some of my short-stories about, just left breakfast in my room which has a large balcony overlooking the ocean and our arrival at Grand Cayman. Mark was the reason WHY Zechariah 4:6 was in Sylvester Stallone’s movie, “Rocky Balboa.” I was about to write that story when all this happened first. Mark’s friend, Dennis Tinerino, Mr. Universe, had quoted the scripture to Sylvester Stallone, praying over him. It had caused quite a stir at the time. Mark says that it cost him his career because he was “too Christian” for Hollywood. Anyway, I’m writing this here because the essence of the scripture is playing out with my life. *** I'm getting tired so I'll just add Mark's story he said I should write, here. Mark DeAlessandro became Sylvester Stallone's body/stunt double just before the feature film, "Rambo: First Blood." Mark was Stallone's personal body double and stunt double in that movie. He stayed Sly's personal double & stunt double for the next 23 years, in 30 Stallone movies. In all, Mark has been an actor/stunt double/ stunt coordinator for 180 major feature films, doubling a dozen or so A-class major actors. His total of television/commercials/movies exceeds 350. I began writing stories about Mark when we met at a "Dinner with Dreamers" private dinner in 2017. We connected instantly because Mark had a big smile, welcoming demeanor, and was wearing a t-shirt that said "Jesus." I have been writing stories about Jesus, God, Christianity, and my own personal walk with God since 1985. In 1998 I began my deep study of the King James Bible translation from the ancient Hebrew and Greek ancient scriptures. I had just finished my Master of Religion degree. I followed that with a Master of Divinity degree. I spent 15,000 hours, over the course of a decade, examining the English translation to the original ancient Hebrew and Greek of the Bible. In doing so I believe I unveiled a completely different paradigm in our precious Bible, much deeper than that being taught in current Christianity. God blessed me with my friendship with Mark because of Mark's amazing faith.
